I believe that art is more than just putting pigment on a surface; it is a vital tool for mindfulness, emotional processing, and spiritual connection. My practice sits at the intersection of technical mastery and soulful exploration. I empower my students to find their voice - and their peace - through the creative process.
I believe that everyone is an artist; some just haven't found their favorite medium yet. My teaching philosophy centers on 'process over product,' encouraging students to take risks, embrace 'happy accidents,' and find their unique visual voice. My goal is to foster the confidence to create without fear. I don't want to just teach people how to draw; I want to teach them how to heal and connect through visual expression.
-
My mission is to celebrate the unique artist in everyone by providing inclusive, adaptable art experiences that bridge the gap between our inner vision and the creation in front of us. I teach mindful, therapeutic creation practices that emphasize process over perfection.
Committed to the health of our planet and the strength of our community, I create with a light footprint and a loud voice for equality, ensuring that Art remains a sustainable path toward freedom of expression and as a tool for community advocacy.
I encourage and welcome all ages, all genders and all abilities to connect and create with me.
